The Society for Arts and Technology (SAT) in Montreal is a pioneering creation lab and exhibition space for fulldome art. Their immersive dome, the Satosphere,opened in October 2011 as the very first permanent immersive modular theatre, dedicated to artistic creation and visualization activities. The dome offers full floor to ceiling 360-degree spherical projection, and has no fixed seating, making it a blank canvas for up to 350 people at a time.
